The port industry needs to move with the times according to Paul Symington of Symington's Port. With only half the amount of port being sold in Traditional London Clubs as was sold 10 years ago, there needs to be an image change for the drink. The way people view port has shifted as times have changed and we now live in a more informal way. The drink is often associated with stuffy dinners. Symington believes a review of the drink is possible, if one looks at the resurgence of Tawny Port which has seen a growth in sales worth 10.8m Euros.
