Ebay open wine shop

Ebay have teamed up with Worldwide Vines to provide a UK online wine shop - Click Click Sip. The project has been in development for 2 years. The service will be 48 hour delivery for a flat rate £6.20 charge and is looking to provide 3 bottle cases. Ebay initially launched this in the US in April this year. The first wines available in the UK provide a mixture of table and mid-priced wines and champagnes but 200 more wines are set to roll out over the next 3 months, including a selection of fine and rare wines. The soft launch includes 135 wines which will be increased to 1,000 by the end of the year. 6 established wine retailers have already signed up and once the site is established another 6 will join in 2017. Laithwaites are one of the ones already signed up.
