Waitrose gets Thirst for wine info
Waitrose is launching a monthly drinks magazine called Thirst. The new magazine will provide in-depth profiles of producers or countries of origin, interviews with well-known personalities as well as the latest news on products and trends. It will also feature recipes with food and drink matching.
Waitrose buyer Justin Howard Sneyd MW said, ‘Thirst will be inspiring, entertaining, informative, but most important of all, down to earth.’
Each issue will be themed, with the first focussing on France to support the French Wine Showcase taking place in stores from 10th April to 7th May. The magazine will be produced by the team behind the award-winning Waitrose Food Illustrated and the first issue will be available in branches of the supermarket this week.
