English Wine Week starts from 20th June to 28th June
With the hospitality industry in lockdown English Wine Week will be less about promoting visits to the 400 wineries in the UK, but we can still enjoy a bottle or two.
During the lockdown many English producers have been creating interesting options to generate sales, such as Furleigh Estate in Dorset, selling mail order boxes of their dry white Bacchus with bundles of local Bothen Hill asparagus, an inspired pairing.
Vineyards that rely on tourists are being hit hard with the lockdown and English Wine Week is a great opportunity to support your local winery.
