- Coupe Stack with Barney Macaulay
Overview
The Coupe Stack, which is made in France, is a set of 6 unique glasses that stack safely one on top of the other, to create a champagne tower. The glasses fills perfectly from 1 bottle of fizz, so there is no wastage. The set comes with a champagne napkin and coasters. Traditionally champagne towers are a pyramid of say 50 glasses and used to create a wow factor at large gatherings. The Coupe Stack is for a more intimate setting, with just 6 glasses but you can add extra glasses, but only up to around 12 until they start to wobble!
The stack retails at £70 at www.coupestack.com. Use the promo code UKWS for UK Wine Show podcast listeners to get £15 off or when you're in London you can try it at Searcys Champagne bar at St Pancras station.
