- Entre-deux-Mers with Stephane Dupuch from Chateau Sainte Marie
Overview
Stephane Dupuch is a winemaker at Chateau Sainte Marie and former president of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation in Bordeaux.
We talk about the Entre-deux-Mers region, its grapes, including the white grape Colombard. At 60,000 hectares of vines it is the biggest region in Bordeaux and years back it used to produce mostly sweet wines. During the 1980s the rules changed and nowadays the majority of wines are dry whites.
