Overview
Marino Bracco is the Head Sommelier and General Manager of the Michelin Guide three-star restaurant, 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana in Hong Kong.
From a very young age Marino worked in hospitality in Italy, but in 2007 he moved to Australia and took Sommelier jobs in Sydney in restaurants and a wine bar where he was in charge of the wine list and ordering wines. After 8 years he moved to Hong Kong taking on his current role as Head Sommelier and promoted to General Manager within 8 months.
Marino talks about being a Sommelier and his approach to helping customers choose their wines.
