- Lawrence Francis Interpreting Wine Podcast
Overview
Lawrence Francis began his Interpreting Wine podcast in 2017 living in Madrid, when he was working in social media and doing interviews with Spanish winemakers, translating from Spanish. In 2018 he moved back to London and continued to establish the podcast, interviewing sommeliers and restaurateurs and people in the wine trade moving through London. Lawrence uses press trips to get access to tastings and tours, often recording the tour guide or conversations between winemakers. Lawrence has the WSET Level 2 qualification and has built up his wine knowledge through those he has met and interviewed for the podcast.
