Overview
Ed describes his book The Vineyards of Britain as 'Cellar door adventures with the best of British wine'.
Ed has been in the wine industry all his career after university in Leeds in 2008. His first job was a wine merchant graduate scheme at working in London for Majestic and doing his WSET through them. He then moved to Australia working for a winery in sales and events and ended up spending 10 years there, returning to the UK in 2020.
The idea for the book came about on his return and, having secured a publisher Fairlight Books, he embarked on visiting 150 vineyards around England and Wales. The book contains superb photography and a story about each of the producers and their wines, organised by regions in chapters. The book is available in independent book stores, Waterstones, Amazon, 59wines.com from 23rd June 2022.
