The Wine Show runs from 25 - 28 October at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. Visitors can enjoy a great day out and learn about wine.
Features back this year include the wine walks, ten minute tasting with Threshers and the tasting theatre.
The tasting theatre is one of the biggest attractions - sessions take place on the hour. Themes include wines for women - calories and alcohol - and wines for weddings. This year you can pre-book tickets for wine walks and tasting theatre sessions online.
A new feature for 2007 is the Masterwine competition sponsored by Jacob's Creek and Evening Standard hosted by Nigel Barden quizzing the experts Oz Clarke, Matt Skinner, Robert Joseph, Tim Atkin, Susy Atkins, Chris Scott, Olly Smith, Sarah-Jane Evans. The public can enter the competition to compete against the experts the winner wins a private tasting with Jacob's Creek chief winemaker Philip Laffer.
Other attractions include Friday Night Live in association with Evening Standard - the idea is to get people to visit after work. The show is open until 9pm on Friday with a DJ and live music.
Thursday night is the preview gala night sponsored by South of France wines.
14,000 attended last year. This year they expect c15,000. If you go to the show and want to buy wine you can order wine by the case and it will be delivered to your home within 7 days.
