Nick Martin is CEO at Wine Owners who specialise in software platforms designed for wine businesses in the UK, France and the US.
Their customers are SMEs, from start ups with £0.5million turnover up to around £70 million and they provide entire technology platforms for wine businesses selling wine in an online or physical retail environment. The wine business management platform is designed from the ground up for the business of wine, connecting business, suppliers and customers, At the heart of the system is wine inventory management -managing stock data, pricing, and integrating with other business platforms. They are also fully integrated with the Liv-ex global marketplace, with an integrated sales channel for a wine merchant's owned stock as well as virtual stock. Nick explains how they are able to integrate AI with customer transaction history and inventory lists to make guided buying recommendations to online visitors.
