Aldi increases online wine range

Discounter Aldi has added 20 new wines to its exclusive online range including a £16.99 Chateau Tour de Pez, St Estephe, and a Chateau Pindelfleurs, St Emilion Grand Cru (RRP: £15.99). The online range initially launched with 90 wines, with Aldi aiming to keep the online offering at around 110-120 wines which is 25% larger than its instore range.

Aldi’s head buyer Mike James says the launch of the site had gone very well but they are tweaking things, filling gaps and ensuring they don’t run out.
