Nazi wine found
Polish treasure hunters found a couple of bottles of 1930s Bordeaux wine whilst exploring a Nazi bunker. The 3rd Reich tunnels near Swinoujscie, a city in north-western Poland, were being explored by local history buffs when they discovered a narrow corridor that hadn't been opened for around 70 years. The red 1938 Chateaux Grand Barrail Lamarzelle and the white 1939 Chateau Latour-Matillac were found hidden in a rotten wooden ammunition box. The temperatures underground are ideal for preserving the wines but experts can't decide whether the wine will taste like vinegar or be drinking well and won't find out until the wines are sold at auction.
