New Zealands yields increase
It's good news in New Zealand as the 2016 harvest is completed. Yields are reportedly up by 34% compared to last years smaller than average harvest. However they are still below the record breaking 2015 crop. Last years harvest only brought in 326,000 tonnes of grapes compared to this years 436,000 tonnes. This is good news as New Zealand growers continue to strive to meet strong export demand for kiwi wines.
