UK drinkers stuck in a rut

It seems that Brits are more likely to change their partner than their wine choice. This, according to a recent survey by the Co-op which found that 52% stick to their favourite wine for around 10 years. A fifth of Brits stick to a chosen grape for fear of making a wrong choice. Those in their late 20s or early 30s are most likely to explore new wines. This proves yet again that wine producers and retailers need to appeal to the key millennial audience whilst they are at their most adventurous. People were most likely to influenced by their partner when trying new wines and will experiment at home rather than in a restaurant or at a friends house. People were still
more likely to be adventurous with food than with wine. Sounds like they need to get on one of our Discovery Wine Courses to find out which styles of wine they are most likely to like!
