Frost wraps its ugly fingers around Northern Europe
Last week we mentioned that England had been hit by a hard frost. It appears it was not just England that was severely affected. Champagne was also hit and even as far south as Bordeaux. Normally with Bordeaux, being located close to the Atlantic and rivers helps mitigate frost. But the right bank has less protection with some vineyards losing between 50 and 100% of the crop.
