LWF smaller but more focused

The 2017 London Wine Fair (LWF) is the leading wine fair in the UK. However over the last decade it has shrunk from a huge sprawling wine show to rival Germany's Prowein and France's Vinexpo. The days of it being an international show have gone, recently the focus has been on the UK on and off trade. The move from the cavernous halls at Excel to Londons Olympia has made it easier for London’s restaurateurs to attend. But the loss of international attendees has put some companies off. Either way this was the smallest show since its high point in 2007, but as a show that meets the needs of the UK trade, it was spot on.
