New Terroir game for wine lovers

A new PC simulation game know as Terroir has been released this week. The game pits you as a vineyard owner growing, making and selling your wines. The game is a simulation turn-based game similar to The Sim, or Civilisation. Players choose the grape varieties and plant them, tend the grapes and make the wine. Vineyard and wine making decisions, such as trimming vines, how the wines are made and the vagaries of weather, all go towards making the wine. Eventually, when your wine is bottled, it is rated by critics and judges who give the wine a rating. Players then need to sell their wine, turn a profit and hopefully expand their empire. The game is for PC and Macs and is available from a number of websites including Steam for £10.99
