Wine podcasting a new trend

Podcasts about wine are on the increase, with a number of new shows popping up. A bi-weekly podcast, Batonnage with the UK’s Fiona Beckett and Liam Steevenson MW has just launched this month and last year wine writer Monty Waldin began his Italian Wine Podcast. In 2016 wine wholesaler Bibendum launched their own podcast for the trade. These join trail blazers such as ThirtyFifty’s UK Wine Show and Grape Radio, both of which launched in 2006.

Next month Chris Scott of the UK Wine Show will be speaking at the wine2wine business seminar in Veneto, Italy, taking part in a panel discussion on wine podcasts with other newer and more established podcasters.
