Vin Méthode Nature, is the new French denomination for natural wine

Vin Méthode Nature is the new French denomination for natural or low interventionist wines.

‘Vin méthode nature’ labelled wines must be made from hand-picked organic grapes using wild yeast. In the wine making they can’t use cross-flow filtration, flash pasteurisation, thermovinification or reverse osmosis.

Two styles of Vin Méthode Nature will be available, those without any added sulfites, and those that will allow up to 30 mg/l. Two different logos have been created to indicate whether or not they contain sulfites.
