British Airways sell all, including the family silver

British Airways has been decommissioning its 747 aircraft and has been selling of the family silver, or at least the first-class glasses and crockery.

Its drinks trolleys have been going for £200 each along with Champagne flutes, brandy glasses, blankets and slippers. Most of the cabin equipment will have the BA logo and form part of memorabilia that is often sold off at the end of the plane's life.
