Drinks Trust launches new initiative to fund wine studies

The Drinks Trust is about to launch an initiative offering free training to people who might otherwise struggle to afford the courses. To qualify for a free WSET Level 1 or WSET Level 2 wine course in the UK, applicants must show they have an income less than £26,000 pa. The trust also have some special funds to help a small number with the L3 course. Meanwhile, Hospitality Apprenticeships Week 2022 will be running between 3 and 9 October 2022. Many restaurants and pubs are facing staff shortages after Brexit and the pandemic, so UKHospitality is trying to encourage people to enter the industry.
