Freixenet launches sparkling rosé ice pops

Freixenet has launched sparkling rosé ice pops in time for the UK festival season.

The frozen ice lollies are made by infusing rosé wine into ice pops. They have a 5% ABV and will be sold around the UK out of a van at Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park food and music festivals taking place around the UK over the summer months.

Samantha Cross, Freixenet brand manager at Freixenet Copestick said: “Rosé wine continues to be a popular choice and, building on the huge success of our Italian Sparkling Rosé, we wanted to deliver a fun and novel way for the consumers to engage with the Freixenet brand this summer.”

Interestingly, Freixenet Copestick also own Bolney Estate, but its competitor Chapel Down is the official English Sparkling Wine sponsor of Pub in the Park. They will hosting a Chapel Down bar at all ten of the Pub in the Park festivals, serving sparkling wines and hosting live wine masterclasses.
