According to a report, there is lots of interest in Low and non alcoholic drinks, but not many people buying them.

The mindful-drinking, alcohol-free community Club Soda teamed up with market research agency The Mix Global to launch an industry report ‘Free Spirited: Demystifying the audiences of alcohol-free’.

In the report published this week, Dr Jussi Tolvi, co-founder of Club Soda, said of low and no alcohol “with Google searches at 10% of alcohol searches but sales at just 1%, there is more interest in low and no than sales. But they found Google searches for low alcoholic beverage searches were up 81% from 2020 compared to 2021.

With global sales of US$10 billion of the low and no category according to IWSR (2022), the growth rate of this new category is expected to be 8% between 2021 and 2025, which is an average growth rate of just 2% per year.
