Majestic store expansion

UK wine retailer Majestic plans to increase the number of stores and has announced its target locations for the new store roll out.
Harpers magazine reported that with 208 stores, 90% of the UK population now lives within 10 miles of a Majestic. Majestic say there are 125 areas in the UK that they believe would be suitable for a new Majestic store.

After beefing up their property team at the end of 2023, they have identified key areas where they think their stores would work and are working with property agent Jackson Criss to identify suitable sites within each area.

Majestic CEO John Colley said: “Experiential bricks-and-mortar retailing is at the heart of what we do at Majestic, and we are committed to opening up to one new store per month during the coming years to help us reach even more customers across the UK.
