Crealis has launched Symbiosis®, a groundbreaking paper-based foil for sparkling wine closures. This eco-conscious innovation eliminates plastic, cutting carbon emissions by up to 30% compared to conventional materials.

Symbiosis® is primarily made from paper, reinforced with aluminium, and fully recyclable under the European Recycling Code C/PAP82. With many producers looking to reduce waste, the decorative foil on sparkling wines has been abandoned by more environmentally friendly producers as unnecessary costly and increasing waste packaging.
