Recycling bins tell you if you're overdoing it
The Drinkaware Trust is spending £1 million on a new advertising campaign to make people more aware of how much they are drinking at home.
The campaign is entitled ‘Alcohol: How Much is too Much?' and encourages us all to use the evidence of the cans and bottles that are filling up their recycling bins to gauge whether or not we’re overdoing it.
According to Drinkaware, drinking in the home can lull us into a false sense of security because we fail to take note of the amount we’re consuming. The home recycling bin is proof of your consumption, not only to yourself but to the outside world.
The campaign will run in cities around the UK at train stations, on buses and outdoor locations.
