Villa Maria & Palliser now CEMARS certified

Villa Maria and Palliser Estate are the first wineries to achieve Certified Emissions Measurement and Reduction Scheme (CEMARS) certification in New Zealand. The scheme represents the first two steps of the internationally recognised carboNZero programme, enabling businesses to measure their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in compliance with ISO 14064-1*, understand their carbon liabilities and put in place plans to reduce their emissions. The wineries were 2 of just 10 New Zealand businesses to be accredited.
