Waverley TBS goes into administration

The on-trade drinks distributor Waverley TBS is entering administration with Deloitte officially called in as administrators. Its' HQ is based in Derbyshire employing 830 staff at 18 sites across the UK.

Waverley TBS is a key distribution partner for Australia’s McGuigan Wines, Burgundy’s Albert Bichot, E&J Gallo and Argentina’s Finca Las Moras among others.

It is thought that rival distributor Matthew Clark may be preparing to bid for the company.
