This show was published 18 June 2010
Chris Howe is professor of plant and microbial biochemistry at Cambridge University. In this interview we find out about DNA and genetics. Chris explains how the grape varieties of ancient seeds left behind by the Romans can be determined using genetic fingerprinting. We also look at how DNA fingerprinting could be used to determine the authenticity of wine in fraud cases.
