D1: Adjustments: Background: Dialog and the Tannin additives with Tatjna Bogdanova
Tatjna Bogdanova is the European representative for Dialog, a Russian company that produces natural oak wood tannin for use in the production of wine, whisky, brandy and other spirits and for regenerating oak barrels. The tannin gives enhanced aromatic flavours to wines. Tatjna explains how the tannin is produced as a powder but must be made into a liquid when added to wine and how the product differs from other products such as oak staves or wood chips.
I thought the questions were excellent, an extremely valuable revision tool. They really helped highlight areas I thought I had revised and understood but clearly had not, which has enabled me to focus on key areas to revisit and study before going into the exam... I think it is a great resource and an essential revision aid for any WSET 3 students wishing to gain a competitive edge and successfully pass the WSET 3 exam.
